Ergund is one of Egar's older brothers. He was the one who had a dream where Kelgris gives him a message to give to Poltar, that Egar's time as clanmaster is over. Ergund was frustrated with Egar, but did not want to be clanmaster. Ergund was killed by Takavach's grass creatures when Ergund and his other brothers attacked Egar during his vigil.
